Before and during her college years, Lindsay worked at events as a bartender and waiter for several years and realized she loved being in the midst of the action. While in college she became a part of the Student Event Planners Association at Texas State and started interning for various event companies. She dabbled in non-profit, corporate and weddings and found her passion in creating flawless events that leave her clients feeling that she was a priceless investment.
She has since been a member of ILEA, Wedding Network USA – Austin Chapter Co-chair board member with Michelle Bromley and won several awards including WeddingWire’s Couples’ Choice Award in 2016 and Austin Style Awards from Austin Wedding Style Magazine in 2015 and 2016. She took the Nuptial Essentials Curriculum and
Instruction (NECI) class that Michelle taught and they started talking then about teaming up in the future. After a few years in the industry, she decided to work for herself. She has been successfully doing so for several years now and came up with an amazing idea! Why not join forces with some of her favorite vendors that she works with regularly to form a company and be an all-inclusive team?! That is how Austin Event Company was born!
Her ideal client is the one who wants a full planning package for any event...those people who are so busy taking over their own worlds that they prefer to hand over the reins of planning an event to someone with significant experience in that arena. She loves building that foundation and trust with her clientele. That way at the end of their event, they are overjoyed with the results of getting exactly what they asked for as well as so much more. She prides herself on exceeding their expectations every time.
